Preparation

Step 1

Starting a practice can be daunting and because of that, maybe the whole idea has been placed on the back burner, yoga is a celebration of what your body can do, and beautiful escape from the pressures, expectations and stimulation of our day to day life, not to mention the well being benefits created from living more mindfully.

So how do you want to do this beautiful life enhancing thing?? Are you an online kinda girl, our do you prefer the community and discipline that comes from going to a real life class??

Step 2

Make a plan, scour the local time tables and commit to attending as many classes as feels appropriate. If you are brand new to yoga aim for 2 x per week, if you are ready to upskill and deep dive into your practice try to get to 2 - 4x or more per week.

Next make a time bound goal eg. 2x per week for 4 week, rain hail or shine!?

Step 3

Take a moment to write a little love letter to yourself with what your hope to gain from your practice.

Then pop it away somewhere for review at the end of your timeline, maybe as as a sweetener you can plan a reward for yourself for your efforts and commitment, perhaps something like a massage or a new pair of leggings?!

*Not to self...Set a reminder in your phone to read your love letter, and then repeat steps 1-3.

Additional ingredients

Sometimes diversity is the spice of life, try a new online platform, or new studio, rope in your girl gang to come on the journey with you, the more aspiring yogis lifting their vibration and consciousness the better!

Enjoy darlings! much love and blessings till next we meet.
